2014 North American Model Engineering Show
April 26 and 27
Yack Arena in Wyandotte, MI
Having missed Cabin Fever Expo this year with a injured
knee I was determined to make it to NAMES. The knee swelling and
discomfort went down and early Thursday morning we headed out for
Michigan. The drive out was fairly uneventful after we cleared
some heavy construction delay on the CT Turnpike. We arrived in
the evening and settled down at the Red Roof Inn. Got moving early
on Friday, went to the arena to set up and stake out table space for our
other club members who would be arriving later in the day.
We had a fine time at the show renewing friendships and making new ones. It is amazing how friendly folks are in our hobby and willing to share their knowledge. |
Slide Shows Sections A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, J, K, L, M

After setup we drove up to Frankenmuth to Bronner's Christmas World so the boys could have their photo taken with Santa.
If you see your exhibit or machine and would care to drop me a line or two, or even a paragraph, about it I will be delighted to add your comments to this page. Please send to webmaster@neme-s.org To identify a photo just hover your cursor over the photo and a tag should pop up. Please use the last three digits of the tag to identify the photo. For example if the tag came up DSC03974.jpg (205067 bytes) the info I would need is 974.jpg. If this is a multi page unit the page number would also be useful. |
