Some parts are manufactured from scratch in house, some are outsourced (but not to China!) The castings for example are ordered several at a time. It would not be economical to have them made one at a time. The bevel gears are made outside the building as they are very fussy and it makes more sense to buy them from someone who does gears for a living.
These units run about $14,000 You had better be serious about it when you order one of these puppies.
